Optimizing The Environment For Children To Excel

Hand in Hand OTC is very honoured to have Ms. Lim Chun Yi to conduct a workshop for the parents on 15 August 2015!

 

The purpose of the workshop is to increase parents’ awareness of the impact of the environment on their children’s development and how they can create learning opportunities for their children in their natural environments.

About Ms. Lim Chun Yi…

Ms. Lim Chun Yi is a senior occupational therapist working at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) Department of Child Development.  She works with children with developmental needs and their families in the clinic, schools and homes.  Chun Yi is pursuing her PhD degree in Rehabilitation Science and her research involves examining the effects of environment on participation of young children with and without developmental needs.  She is also the Vice-President of the Singapore Association of Occupational Therapists (SAOT) and a recipient of international postgraduate scholarships and local research grant awards.
